Miraflores Park Hotel refurbishment programme

This December 1st, 2013 Orient-Express’ luxury hotel in Lima (Peru), Miraflores Park Hotel, will close its doors to embark on an extensive four month refurbishment programme. The hotel, which boasts stunning vistas of the capital and Pacific Ocean will open again on March 31st, 2014 with a brand new look complimenting its impeccable service, infinity edged rooftop swimming pool and unbeatable location, making it the premier hotel in Lima for discerning travellers.

Three floors will be entirely re-designed, and works will include the overhaul of all master suites on these floors including 26 suites and three Presidential suites. A soft refurbishment of other floors will bring light design touches to 52 suites and the breakfast area on the 11th floor will also be refreshed.
This exciting project will include a new air-conditioning system installed and new materials being used to refurbish the wooden floors. The Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde bar will also be given a fresh new look, transforming it into the perfect venue for pre or post dinner cocktails.

Recognising that Lima has quickly become a hub for business travellers to Peru, following its re-opening, the hotel will offer an entire floor dedicated to a brand new business lounge, modern conference facilities and new meeting rooms, and the very best in state-of-the-art business technology.

The planned refurbishment will complement Mesa 18, the hotel’s gourmet restaurant run by Chef Toshiro Konishi. Since its launch in 2010, Mesa 18 has become a hotspot on the thriving gastronomic scene of Lima and is a must visit for any dedicated gourmand.
Miraflores Park Hotel are looking forward to the start of this new, exciting project and are confident the extensive planned works at the end of this year will ensure guests will be able to enjoy the new delights and luxuries of the renovations in time for the height of the season in 2014 in Lima.
