I decided to study tourism and hotel management because I've always been fascinated by everything that has to do with service, travel and tourists. I had the chance to work in hotel management for almost 2 years, but then I discovered that my passion is definitely tourism, even more so living in Peru, a country with so much to offer in the way of culture, history, nature, cuisine, tradition, and so much more.
I've worked at Coltur for almost 7 years, and I've had the opportunity to visit several destinations and thus be able to offer travelers the chance to get to see Peru, enjoy an unforgettable trip and a unique Coltur style experience, with the best advice, warmth, promptness and personalized service from beginning to end. Behind the work we do, there is a true vocation for service, and we give it our all so that our passengers return home satisfied, with the best memories of their trip as well as a desire to return someday.
My favorite place to visit is the city of Cusco, full of magic, cobblestone alleys, and beautiful houses with tiled roofs. The best part of Cusco is the Salineras de Maras (salt ponds), especially when the landscape is all colored in white because of the amount of salt that forms in the thousands of ponds.
I have to confess that I love the 'Toritos de Pucara', a type of traditional pottery from Pucara, located between Cusco and Puno. These little bulls are placed on the roofs of the houses as a sign of good luck and protection. I actually own several for my protection!
