I've worked in tourism for about 24 years. I started out in a small agency in the field of domestic travel. There I learned a lot about tourism.
My first learning trip was to Cusco, a city which captivates me to this day. The first time I went to Machu Picchu, I was stunned, and I felt the same emotion you feel when your greatest dream has come true. Then I started traveling to other beautiful and not less important destinations in my country.
I started working at Coltur 13 years ago. Here I've learned everything I know about incoming tourism, in this case selling my country to people from all over the world. What I like about my work is when a passenger leaves and expresses his happiness and admiration after having seen Peru. My country makes me very proud.
To make this happen, we have an amazing, professional, experienced team. As for me, I don't scrimp on time nor effort to make sure everything comes out perfectly. I believe I do my best, and this satisfies me as a human being.
If I had to recommend another place to visit besides Cusco, I would say anywhere. Puno, Arequipa, Iquitos, Puerto Maldonado, Nazca, Trujillo, Chiclayo and of course my dear Lima, each one is different but in all of them you will find history, culture and nature.
