I've been working in the travel industry for almost 8 years. In early 2004 I started working in travel as an intern at a wholesale travel agency, and in February 2007 I joined the Coltur family, initially as part of the Operations team for three years, and later I joined the Incoming Tourism team in Special Accounts.
During this whole time, I've understood the importance of offering quality and warmth as we communicate with our customers. Our job is not only to answer questions, but also to guide and suggest the best alternatives. One of our main tools is the knowledge we have of each destination and the services offered, which helps us to convey to our customers with certainty the best offers available in our country.
Peru is a privileged country any way you look at it: its geography, history, and people make it a destination that cannot be missed.
You can travel north and visit Trujillo and Chiclayo, where the Chimu and Moche cultures flourished, respectively. Both of these cultures were important participants in our history. After this initial journey, I would suggest traveling south, and visiting our imperial city of Cusco, where it is impossible not to visit Machu Picchu, our wonder of the world, in addition to other towns and places which Cusco has to offer. Only 8 hours away by rail, I would encourage you to continue on to Puno, from where you must sail through Lake Titicaca, which will wrap you up in its charm and mysticism.
There is nothing more gratifying than hearing or reading: “Thanks, Coltur! My trip was unforgettable, and I'll be back next year!”
