At COLTUR Peru, the safety and wellbeing of our guests and staff has always been our utmost priority. We understand the raising concerns within the travel industry due to the COVID-19 outbreak and, as CEO, I want to personally reach out and update you on the current situation.

The rapid spread of the new coronavirus COVID-19 has received intense media attention throughout the world. At COLTUR Peru, we therefore understand the concerns that travelers might have with regard to visiting Peru; however, as the World Health Organization (WHO) has stated, there is no need for the adoption of measures to adjust travel plans, although of course any such measures must always remain a very personal decision.

The holiday season is a time that inspires giving, selflessness. These are values that we at COLTUR Peru are continually mindful of,and therefore are extremely proud to work with a group of people that embody these virtues not only during the holidays but actually 365 day of the year.

Sonesta Posada del Inca, an iconic hotel located on Arequipa´s main square, will close its doors after 13 years of operation.

The prestigious San Pellegrino World's 50 Best Restaurant Awards - viewed as the Oscars of fine dining – were held once again London´s Guildhall on April 29th, and we are delighted to announce that two Peruvian restaurants made the top 20: Central and Astrid & Gaston in positions 15 and 18 respectively.

Lima´s Jorge Chavez International Airport Ranked as South America´s Best (Again).

Renowned Thomas Campbell, Director and CEO of New York´s MET museum, realized that despite there being continuous education for museum´s curators, archivists and other staff, museum directors were “out in the cold”

Towards the end of 2013 COLTUR Peru´s Marketing division carried out a customer satisfaction survey amongst our clients. The results obtained, although extremely satisfactory and very humbling, pose quite a challenge in our constant quest for excellence.

Orient Express Hotels Ltd, an iconic name is the luxury travel segment, recently announced it will change names as of March 10th, 2014.
